Teen Read Week, Oct. 14-20th!
Celebrate Teen Read Week with the Fresno County Public Library by reading these embarrassing stories, submitted by Fresno County teens. Why not have a laugh at all the mortifying things we do?! You can comment on them too--has anything like this ever happened to you?
Each story has been ranked in whoopee cushions, on a scale of 1-5. Here is a key:
Curling up in a corner to die
Utter humiliation
Red-faced shame
Pretty bad, but in time you'll laugh about it

This happened to a friend of mine once. He walked right into an automatic door at a grocery store but for some reason it didn't open. He hit it so hard he fell right onto his back on the black plastic mat. Everyone else who was trying to go into the store was then gathered around him. It was one of the funniest things I've ever witnessed, and I still laugh whenever I think about it. There he was, lying there on his back, looking helplessly up at all the people who just wanted to go into the grocery store. Priceless.
